Material Use

Advanced materials, and the use of a durability plan ensure the home will realize its 100+ year life expectancy. A waste management plan minimized material waste, and local materials were also used wherever possible.  This photo shows the application of Home Slicker®, a product that effectively drains moisture that can accumulate behind the siding as a result of leakage from the siding itself, wind-driven rain, and the home’s interior moisture vapors. Left unvented, this moisture can cause damage to siding, paints and stains, and even lead to indoor air quality problems.
