Innovative Storm Water Design

To minimize or eliminate any pollution generated from storm water runoff, the least amount of impervious surface was used. The project was under the city of Baxter’s Planned Unit Development ordinance, which provides for shared facilities, parking, sidewalks, etc. Rather than build a parking lot to anticipated maximum needs, the number of parking spaces required was carefully calculated based upon projected capacity.  A wooded area was preserved and will be cleared for additional parking only if absolutely necessary later.
